HIGHWAY EXPROPRIATION – 58B AVE

The widening of Highway # 10 through parts of Surrey created a scenario where a number of affected properties felt the portion of their lots taken was being undervalued by the Province.  Our firm was retained by a group of seven landowners to challenge the valuation.

Working with a trusted land appraiser we were able to successfully establish a value for the lost lands that exceeded the original Provincial proposed payout.  In addition the Province agreed to complete works along the Highway that would reduce the noise and disturbance created by the widening to the satisfaction of the land owner group.
