NEW RESIDENTIAL LOTS IN AGRICULTURAL LAND RESERVE
RICHMOND, B.C.
CLIENT: RON & JEANETTE LEMIEUX
Creating new small residential lots in the Agricultural Land Reserve is extremely difficult. The Client’s family had held a number of contiguous small lots, all in the Land Reserve. The goal of creating two one acre lots for residential use required the approval of both the City of Richmond and the Agricultural Land Commission.
A creative solution to provide the two residential lots fronting Granville Avenue while consolidating the remaining parcels, to prevent subsequent subdivision and ensure an ongoing farm use, proved successful.
