CLIENT:  SHOPPERS DRUG MART

Major chain retailers are always looking for an advantage over their competition.  One of Shoppers Drug Mart’s strategies was to identify new store locations very early in the community development process.  Our firm was tasked to review new Official Community Plans, Neighbourhood Plans, Zoning Bylaws and other municipal regulations that would assist them in identifying and acquiring key sites well ahead of the actual development.  Our firm analyzed OCPs and Community Plans throughout the B.C. Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and the Interior identifying potential sites and confirming our analysis with the local municipalities. 

In addition we monitored the approval process of a variety of sites to ensure that the development of their sites moved forward through the approval process to meet their store opening expectations.
