Local convenience stores are often considered unwelcomed additions to local communities despite their immediate acceptance once established. This prime location at the intersection of 84th Avenue and 112th Street, two busy arterials, demanded particular attention to safe access and egress as well as the buffering of adjoining residential areas. We also focused on night lighting to minimize the effect on adjacent properties but also ensured the safety of shoppers on site. Approval also required introducing proactive measures to reduce loitering and vandalism.
